Telestream is continuing its advances in cloud and hybrid deployment for media processing and video quality assurance.
At this year’s NAB Show, it will showcase Vantage, its software-enabled media processing platform, which manages all media services from the camera to the point of distribution, that has been enhanced with new camera ingest functionality as well as Traffic Manager options with improved Grass Valley iTX integration.
The enhanced Vantage now includes support for growing file upload onto IBM Aspera.
Its iQ adaptive bitrate (ABR) monitoring solution will be another highlight at booth SL3308.
Telestream’s iQ solutions manage and measure video quality from the source, at the video player, and at key points in between. The latest version features a new user interface and workflow, allowing users to read video distribution status for rapid issue detection and drill down into the details to isolate and fix any problem.
It includes status visualisation, navigation to troubleshooting across multiple dimensions, custom access roles and user profiles, viewership impact analysis with integrated end-client analytics, and the ability to monitor captioning and subtitle presence, performance and video alignment.
The solution is available for appliance, virtual and cloud-based deployments.
Telestream will also be bringing along the latest version of Wirecast, which now supports re-streaming and live captioning workflows with the introduction of Wirecast Live Captions and Wirecast Restream, two new Web services hosted on Telestream Cloud.
These functions are designed to address two issues facing live streamers — the creation of captions for live events, and the need for multi-platform distribution, even when upload bandwidth is limited.
