3SS introduces intent-driven entertainment UX Intelligence

3 Screen Solutions (3SS) has launched 3Ready Hero Search and 3Ready Hero for editors – two new AI-powered features within 3Ready Hero, the UX Intelligence layer that 3SS embeds across the 3Ready platform.

In today’s TV and entertainment experiences, users face fragmented content discovery, endless browsing and search experiences that often fail to understand what the viewer means. 

At the same time, service providers’ editorial and product teams rely on studying lengthy documentation and processes that slow them down and disconnect them from improving the experiences they manage. 

 3Ready Hero overcomes both challenges by injecting AI-powered intelligence into all 3Ready experiences, delivering intuitive, intent-driven discovery for users while ensuring operators retain absolute control over their brand, business logic, and data.

While 3Ready Hero integrates natively with the 3Ready Product Framework and 3Ready Control Centre, 3Ready Hero is built as modular components that can be deployed independently or together depending on the existing system landscape.

3Ready Hero Search is an AI-powered semantic search feature that can understand user intent and meaning through sophisticated natural-language interaction. Instead of relying solely on keywords, 3Ready Hero Search interprets what users mean and can make inferences when requests are vague or contextual.

It aggregates results from operator and third-party content sources with deep links, returning relevant content even for unspecific requests such as “make me laugh”. Users see enhanced interpretation and granularity in search results, and enjoy faster, more accurate and relevant discovery that traditional search experiences often fail to deliver.

3Ready Hero Search can also aggregate third-party content sources to embrace more content providers and offer access to a wider content catalogue. This presents service providers with new marketing opportunities and is accomplished without the need for complex backend and metadata integrations.

3Ready Hero for Editors is a smart assistant embedded directly in 3Ready Control Centre. Trained on 3Ready knowledge databases and documentation, it is now available for all 3Ready Control Centre 3.0 customers.

3Ready Hero for Editors gives operator and editorial teams accurate, platform-specific answers, information and insights within the same environment in which they configure and manage services, thus eliminating the need to search documentation, switch between systems or raise support tickets.
