Grass Valley’s expanded portfolio empowers content creation

Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, will be showcasing its solutions and how the newly combined portfolio with Snell Advanced Media (SAM) is enabling media companies to meet the challenges of creating, managing and delivering compelling content in a changing media landscape.

One of the solutions Grass Valley will be highlighting is the new iTX Flex solution, an automated playout platform designed to connect and monetise by offering cloud playout orchestration using microservices, provided as software-as-a-service (SaaS). According to Grass Valley, the cloud architecture of iTX Flex empowers faster service launches, more agile business models, and a lower total cost of ownership.

The company will also demonstrate its production switchers that provide the flexibility to work with a variety of content formats, including 4K/Ultra HD (UHD). This range consists the GV K-Frame X video production engine, the Kahuna 6400 live production switcher, and the GV Korona K-Frame V-series for flexible 12G-SDI connectivity.

Visitors to booth 4R2-01 can also check out the ICE integrated playout, which is powered by Morpheus automation for advanced flexibility. The solution offers multiple channel outputs from a single playlist while supporting 2D or 3D graphics templates with data.
