Alchimie’s first Asian content deal is with NHK

Alchimie, a content aggregator and dynamic distributor, has struck a deal with NHK Enterprise to distribute a range of wildlife programming. NHK’s programming is often deemed as the gateway to Asia, as it shows the Japanese’s perspective and fresh insights into current events.

This is Alchimie’s first content acquisition deal in Japan, and it will add an Asian touch to the existing science and wildlife programming in Alchimie’s library.

Alchimie distributes its multi-language library of premium factual content via editorially themed SVoD channels including the wildlife-focused Species and geopolitical channel Humanity. The channels are distributed to over 40 digital platforms and telcos across Europe, including to TVPlayer, Alchimie’s recently acquired UK-based OTT platform.
