All systems go for HBO Go on Mediacorp’s Toggle platform
As from February 14, HBO Go has become available on Mediacorp’s digital entertainment platform, Toggle, as are HBO’s array of premium programming such as the final season of "Games of Thrones" — at a monthly package for S$13.98 (US$10.30) or an annual 12-month package of S$119.98
Singapore terrestrial broadcaster Mediacorp has inked a deal with HBO Asia, to make the latter’s subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) service, HBO Go, available on Toggle.
The collaboration is aimed at bringing compelling content to Mediacorp’s viewers on their preferred digital devices, without the need for set-top boxes (STBs) and installation.
Tham Loke Kheng, CEO of Mediacorp, said: “With HBO Go, we will be delivering even more compelling content to our consumers on their favourite digital devices.
“We’re catering to multi-screen consumption habits, minus the need for STBs and manual installation.
“What’s great as well is that HBO Go is fully accessible within the Toggle app. This allows for easy navigation in a user-friendly environment that Toggle users are already familiar with.”
This collaboration between HBO Asia and Mediacorp marks the latter’s commitment to working with global media partners. And by bridging both entertainment ecosystems, HBO Go on Toggle will furnish fans with an elevated viewing experience, said the companies in a joint statement.
For instance, subscribers will be able to access HBO Go’s six streaming channels, which can be watched anytime, anywhere, alongside a vast library of Hollywood and Asian theatricals as well as the US original versions of HBO’s shows.
Furthermore, they will be able to switch between free-to-air Mediacorp productions and HBO Go’s wealth of western blockbusters, such as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Ready Player One, in addition to the Games of Throne saga.

“More subscribers in Singapore will now have easy access to stream HBO Asia’s network of six channels and watch Hollywood and Asian movies, as well as award-winning HBO Original content from the US and Asia.”
