SynView Multiview and 400 Series 3 hybrid digital router are among some of the IP and 4K/UHD solutions that Axon will be exhibiting at the show
Axon Digital Design has enhanced its range of IP products and production tools to help broadcasters address the challenges of the migration to IP. And in anticipation of the Winter Olympic Games this February, several broadcasters and outside broadcast (OB) companies have also deployed Axon’s solutions to capture the action from PyeongChang, South Korea, in 4K/Ultra HD (UHD).
At the upcoming BVE trade show, Axon will be showcasing the SynView Multiview solution, which is designed to manage both 4K/UHD and IP video formats. Besides supporting a wide range of applications, and from small to large monitoring walls, SynView is also able to support the video transport mechanism the industry chooses to adopt, said Axon.
Alongside SynView, the Utah Scientific 400 Series 3 hybrid digital router will also be making a BVE debut. Equipped with the ability to create IP signals from the same central frame, the 400 Series 3 is able to manage IP and SDI video signal formats, along with a number of audio and data formats.
Completing Axon’s line-up for BVE2018 are the Cerebrum control and monitoring platform, and its MPEG Transport Stream Multiviewer. The multiviewer is part of Axon’s SMART DVB, a suite of tools to monitor, report and analyse live MPEG-2 and DVB transport streams. As for Cerebrum, it is a control solution designed for mobile production, news and studio live production, master control and remote production.
