Following a successful Broadcast Innovation Days in Jakarta and Hanoi last year, Broadcast Solutions will be bringing the one-day event to Manila, the Philippines and Bangkok, Thailand this November.

Broadcast Innovation Days returns to Asia

Broadcast Solutions and event partners will showcase the latest technology innovations in broadcast technology and discuss issues to optimise workflows

German systems integrator (SI) Broadcast Solutions will host Broadcast Innovation Days Asia 2017 in Manila, the Philippines on November 6, and in Bangkok, Thailand on November 9.

The topics to be discussed include the streamlining of broadcast workflows, future-proof solutions for broadcasters, as well as the needs and solutions for local broadcast companies to meet changing production demands.

A key presentation entitled Wireless (R)evolution will highlight the evolution from traditional analogue point-to-point microwave systems to the latest revolutionary IP-based mesh networks.

Additionally, Broadcast Solutions will present its line of Streamline outside broadcast (OB) vans and demonstrate how the company combines IP and 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) solutions within the truck.

Joining Broadcast Solutions are IHSE and Riedel Communications; the latter will present its MicroN system for modular production. As the newest member to Riedel’s MediorNet family, MicroN is equipped with de-centralised routing capabilities, and features configuration options that are designed to enhance workflow efficiency.

KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) solutions provider IHSE will be focusing on the monitoring and control of remote video sources in multiviewers over its Draco tera KVM matrix switches. IHSE’s Tera Viewer software provides an IP-based preview of video signals passing through the Draco tera matrix system.

As KVM matrix switches are increasingly used in broadcast organisations to provide users with access to the vast array of devices from their workstations, IHSE’s Tera Viewer allows users to monitor images as required in control and monitoring applications.
