Broadcast Solutions showcasing its varied skills & capabilities

Systems integrator Broadcast Solutions’ extensive presence at IBC2026 will include three outside broadcast (OB) units at the outdoor exhibit booth O.A03.

One of the OB Units includes what Broadcast Solutions calls a radical new concept, where the mobile edge production is engineered and system-integrated by Broadcast Solutions, based on a concept developed by DMC Production.

The unique architecture of the truck provides all the technology required for a large-scale outside broadcast, running within the Grass Valley AMPP environment, on just a pair of Dell servers, operating as an extension of DMC’s production centres, providing premium-quality broadcast production over readily available connectivity and with a bandwidth requirement of 100 Mbps.

The other OB trucks include one built for a major German public broadcaster and supports up to 20 Ultra HD (UHD) cameras with two production areas; and a state-of-the-art radio OB van built for Estonia’s national public service broadcaster ERR.

Also exhibited outdoor is meshTECH, Broadcast Solutions’ media-centric mesh wireless system. meshTECH delivers high-performance, low-latency transmission of video, audio and data in a network architecture which is quick to deploy and fully scalable for any event.

Separately, at booth 12.F20, visitors can check out feature specific technology platforms, including camera support hardware from Egripment, part of the Broadcast Solutions Group.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Egripment’s latest developments in cranes, hotheads and dynamic grips will be shown alongside the AI-powered, sports-focused automatic production software from Studio Automated. This offers responsive and low-latency automated camera operation, thanks to its self-contained AI approach with no need for cloud support.

And at booth 8.B60, visitors can also check out solutions from BFE and Media Systeme, which became part of the Broadcast Solutions family this July. The company will show its expertise in studio and production solutions, media and control room technologies, and custom hardware and software development.

Stefan Breder, Co-CEO, Broadcast Solutions, said, “Our strategy at Broadcast Solutions is to evolve our capabilities as the demands of the media creation market change. We do this by continuing development in our skills, knowledge and facilities, and by embracing partnerships with other leaders in the industry.

“IBC is the perfect place for us to showcase those skills and capabilities. Most importantly, we want to start the conversations that lead to the next steps forward in producing compelling content, discussions that often start at IBC and lead to highly successful partnerships.”

IBC2026 is taking place from September 11-14 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.
