CellSat Rental package drives lightning-fast connectivity

As the quality of videos evolves to higher bitrates, the file size of the video inevitably grows larger, slowing down the speed of transfer. At times, broadcasters have to compromise on video quality for faster transmission, especially when working in the field.

Dejero, a cloud-based solutions innovator, is partnering AQYR, a land terminal provider, to launch a Dejero CellSat turnkey rental package. The new package will bring both cellular and satellite connection for mobile broadcast team to deliver fast and reliable satellite transmission while covering outdoor events.

Equipped with HEVC, Dejero Cellsat solution blends multiple networks with Intelsat’s Ku-band IP satellite connectivity. This enables broadcasters to deliver exceptional picture quality reliably even when cellular bandwidth is limited.

Dejero aims to provide mobility for broadcasters offering features such as multiple antenna options and portable flyaways as well as vehicle mounts.

Apart from cloud-based solutions, the compact and lightweight AQYR TYPHOON 1.0 meter terminal is able to provide users with swift two-way broadband VSAT communications. It is able to automatically position itself through a GUI network and view real-time updates.

“This new rental package is about convenience and reliability; it makes our easy-to-use and easy-to-transport CellSat solution even more readily accessible to broadcasters and content providers across the US and Europe.

“Dejero is always aiming to make broadcasters’ jobs easier and to provide assurance when their teams go live from anywhere in the field,” said Kevin Fernandes, VP, broadcast at Dejero.

For the time being, the Dejero CellSat rental package will be available only in Europe and the US.
