Clear-Com provides Nagoya Broadcasting Network the essentials
Nagoya Broadcasting Network (NBN), based in Chukyo, Japan, has upgraded and connected its three studios with Clear-Com Eclipse HX digital matrix frames, including an IP switch being installed on each floor, along with media converters for long-distance cabling. This enables easy and fast connection during the broadcast of large special events.

The installation, which offers increased versatility includes E-FIB link cards for seamless fibre connections to the studio intercom frame.
To leverage Clear-Com’s IP capabilities, the Eclipse HX-Median offers the network a comprehensive room-to-room intercom system and its new E-IPA interface cards that enable high-density audio-and-intercom-over-IP connections.
Furthermore, 30 V-Series Panels offer communications monitoring and transmission over AES67 uncompressed audio IP streams, enabling the system to deliver high-quality audio from user-to-user with significantly reduced latency.
Kazuki Hayashi, chief audio engineer, NBN, said: “We need a communication system that can expand to meet our needs while still staying within our budget.
“Clear-Com IP connections are scalable and ideal for everything we do.
“The staff has perfect communication using Clear-Com, and our local partner, MTC Japan, provided us with the right proposal to fit our needs.
“In the end, it was a perfect installation.”
