Digigram’s IQOYA *X/LINK is designed to deliver audio-over-IP (AoIP) programmes to multiple targets.
The IQOYA *X/LINK and IQOYA *VIP are among the solutions that the company will be bringing to the show
Digigram will be highlighting its analogue, digital and IP sound cards, alongside audio-over-IP (AoIP) codecs dedicated to outside broadcasting (OB) and programme distribution. The company will also be demonstrating its audio interfaces and transport-over-IP solutions, including the IQOYA *X/LINK.
Designed to enable connectivity for both legacy audio infrastructures and IP audio infrastructures, the IQOYA *X/LINK is able to integrate multiple IP audio codecs for programme distribution for studio-to-studio links (SSL), studio-to-transmitter links (STL), DVB and web radio. Besides managing IP audio transcoding, the IQOYA *X/LINK also enables multi-format encoding and multi-protocol streaming of each input programme.
Furthermore, the IQOYA *X/LINK is equipped with Digigram FluidIP technology, thus providing transport of audio content over both managed and unmanaged networks, and audio service continuity on transmitter sites.
In addition, Digigram will showcase the IQOYA *LINK and IQOYA *LINK/LE STL IP codecs, which allow the transportation of the MPX signal directly from the studio to the transmitter sites, via a software option.
This solution, according to Digigram, eliminates the need to deploy and maintain several pieces of equipment at each transmitter site, as the solution is capable of generating the MPX signal once on the studio side.
At the show, Digigram will also present its IQOYA *VIP AoIP software. Equipped with encoding, transcoding and streaming functions, the software can be deployed as a middleware for the creation of live streaming, processing and encoding systems.
Digigram will be exhibiting alongside S.C.Alliance and Village Island at booth 1206 and booth 5307 respectively, during Inter BEE 2017, which will be held from November 15-17 at the Makuhari Messe convention centre in Chiba, Japan.
