Discover how Ateliere powers OTT workflows & libraries in the cloud

Ateliere Connect and Discover are two cloud-native solutions that Ateliere Creative Technologies will be presenting at IBC 2022.

Ateliere Connect is designed to allow media operators better manage their content libraries and connect their media supply chain. It includes tools to manage media assets, optimise content libraries, and orchestrate production and delivery of title and content packages to over-the-top (OTT), broadcast and cable endpoints.

Native support for versioned workflows, including the Interoperable Master Format (IMF), ensures that title management includes the many versions associated with a title, including localised languages and compliance edits.

Integrated with Ateliere’s Deep Analysis/Frame DNA technology, Ateliere Connect can eliminate title duplication, thus reducing cloud storage footprints by up to 70%, the company claims.

Other features include microservices and an application programming interface (API) to enable interoperability from ingest to quality control, packaging and delivery, as well as integration of business and legacy media asset management (MAM) systems, optimising flow and transparency of work orders, billing and inventory.

As for Ateliere Discover, which will be demonstrated at booth 5.G12, it allows content owners to power a streaming service and orchestrate delivery across their video app or major OTT marketplace. App elements like artwork, on-screen arrangement, layout and more can be customised to create a more compelling viewer experience.

Furthermore, it is supported with backend analytics to provide insights on title performance and audience viewing habits, enabling content owners to make data-driven decisions about what to deliver next.
