Embrionix focuses on 4K/UHD IP production at NAB Show
The emMODULAR-48-8 IP processing solution and emVIEW IP throwdown boxes are among the solutions that Embrionix will be exhibiting at 2018 NAB Show
Embrionix has lined up a series of SMPTE ST 2110/2022-6-7-compliant IP processing and gateway solutions, alongside IP multiviewers, for this year’s NAB Show.
Leading Embrionix’s showcase is the emMODULAR-48-8 IP aggregation/processing frame, which is designed to deliver 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) signals over a 25GbE network. The new emMODULAR-48-8 is packed within a 1RU frame, and supports up to 80x4K/UHD or 96x3G miniaturised Embrionix gateways.
Calling the emMODULAR as the “perfect solution” for production trucks, Embrionix explained that the solution is capable of aggregating and processing IP flows to/from two redundant core switches. Moreover, the emMODULAR also enables IP clean switching of any IP signal from one source to another.
The emVIEW-U-DMI and emFUSION-6 will also be making its debut for Embrionix.
The new emFUSION-6 is a standalone gateway that permits remote control of up to five camera feeds and signal return over a single fibre link. The device also allows for remote control of camera pan/zoom/tilt parameters, and includes two aggregation ports that can be used for link redundancy.
As for the emVIEW-U-DMI, it is the newest member of Embrionix’s emVIEW family. Designed to support 4K/UHD, the emVIEW-U-DMI can be installed directly on the back of an HDMI monitor, and features frame sync, audio shuffling at the edge.
Embrionix will be exhibiting at booth N4111 during 2018 NAB Show, which will take place from April 7-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre in Nevada, USA.
