Grass Valley’s Edius Pro 9 can be used for editing for multiple formats and frame rates, and will be demonstrated at Inter BEE 2018.
Rio and Edius editing software family, as well as LDX 86N cameras, are some of the solutions on display
Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, will be exhibiting a suite of solutions at Inter BEE 2018.
Under its editing software portfolio, Grass Valley will unveil the newest version of Rio, which is now integrated with Dolby Vision support and production file compression for increased media available on existing storage. Alongside Rio is the demonstration of its Edius Cloud, a cloud-based editing software; and Edius Pro 9, which now supports editing of SD, HD and 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) formats.
Also on display at booth 3506 are the LDX 86N series cameras, which delivers native HD, 3G and 4K/UHD images for the “highest possible” resolution and image clarity. The key to providing native resolution in the LDX 86N series is a new generation of native 4K/UHD XensiumHAWK CMOS imagers that support native HD and 4K/UHD resolution.
For conversion, Grass Valley will offer its Alchemist Live, a motion-compensated framerate converter. Designed to provide “transparent, artifact-free” conversion for global distribution of live media, Alchemist Live supports live IP and SDI media streams, and features native support for RollCall control and monitoring, as well as Grass Valley iControl and GV Guardian.
Completing Grass Valley’s showcase at Inter BEE 2018 is the demonstration of the MV-820-IP multiviewer, which is a member of the MV-8 series multiviewer range. Designed for IP monitoring applications, the MV-820-IP offers 48 IP inputs and 12 IP outputs within a 2RU chassis.
Inter BEE 2018 will be taking place from November 14-16 at the Makuhari Messe convention centre in Tokyo.
