Gravity Media powers AI-driven global distribution of World Economic Forum

Gravity Media recently teamed up with the production team of the World Economic Forum to provide critical broadcast, streaming and content distribution services for the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2026 in Dalian, China.
The event brings together global leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to discuss innovation, technology, and economic development.
Operating from Gravity Media’s facilities in Vilvoorde, Belgium, a dedicated Gravity Media and DB Video team managed the global distribution infrastructure that enables audiences worldwide to access the event across multiple platforms and languages.
As part of a long-term, multi-year partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF), Gravity Media was responsible for the delivery and distribution of the event’s world feed, live streaming services, video-on-demand (VoD) content, IPTV distribution, and social media streams.
During the three-day event in Dalian, Gravity Media managed approximately 60 sessions, simultaneously processing and distributing up to five live sessions at any given time. At the heart of the operation was Webble-Cast, Gravity Media’s robust cloud-based media distribution platform via DB Video. The solution acted as the central hub for ingest, processing, management, and delivery of all live and on-demand content.
A key component of the deployment was Gravity Media’s integration of advanced AI language services, providing speakers’ content with six additional subtitle languages for both web streaming and on-site IPTV audiences. This significantly enhanced accessibility and audience engagement for the Forum’s international participants.
The platform is designed to support large-scale global audiences, handling approximately 50 terabytes of data during the event and accommodating up to 10,000 simultaneous press viewers, supported by a package of scalable processing hours.
Through its centralised operating model and advanced cloud-based delivery capabilities, Gravity Media continues to support some of the world’s most demanding international events, ensuring reliable, scalable, and multi-lingual content distribution to audiences worldwide.
