IABM Executive Summit focusing on emerging trends & opportunities in APAC

As key media consumption trends are evolving, this year’s IABM Executive Summit get-together aims to bring industry movers for an insightful sharing session on June 17, the eve of ConnecTechAsia 2019 in Singapore.

Some of the luminaries to grace the summit include IABM CEO Peter White; Olivier Jorda, Global Media & Entertainment director, Oracle; Bea Alonso, director of Global Product Marketing, Ooyala; and many more.

The summit will address the emergence of new markets, and strategies in achieving long-term growth as new business opportunities come to the fore. Attendees of the summit will learn how to bolster their company’s presence and keep their competitors at bay.

While more and more markets rely on quality video as a key element in their business, the summit will also examine the dynamics of various verticals such as live events, eSports, education, houses of worship, and higher-end social media requirements.

Peter White of IABM will kickstart the session with a presentation on broadcast and media trends in APAC. In subsequent segments, he will touch on the efficiency and effectiveness of content supply chain management – a highly sought-after solution.

Has the death of pay-TV arrived?

Olivier Jorda of Oracle will provide the answer to the pressing question with emphasis on IoT, AI and its efficiency in enhancing customer experience for pay-TV subscribers.

There will also be a fireside chat with founder of Picture Board, case study analyses from Ooyala and Mediakind, as well as a discussion on the application of UHD/HDR in ASEAN.

Peter Bruce, director of IABM APAC, said: ” The IABM Executive Summit, “New Markets – New Business Opportunities” as the word broadcast has been redefined. The event is a mixture of feedback from the vendor and end-user communities.”

The event will be taking place at Cassia 3211 & 3212, Level 3, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, on June 17 from 2pm-5pm.

It’s free for all IABM members, and broadcasters/end-users … but hurry, book your spot here.
