IBC2019 puts consumers first and welcomes a new era in media
IBC2019 is igniting this year’s new conference tracks with thought-provoking and technological debates lead by industry leaders. They include industry luminaries Cécile Frot-Coutaz, head of EMEA, YouTube; Arnaud de Puyfontaine, chairman, Vivendi; and Max Amordeluso, EU lead evangelist, Amazon Alexa.

This year’s theme will focus on “Consumer First: A New Era in Media”.
The main conference is split into five new tracks, with a different focus at each stage of the media supply chain and invaluable insights from 300 speakers from around the world.
Each track will also feature relevant Tech Talks which zero in on cutting-edge methodology that enhances the future of media content chain.
Create & Produce: Creating Disruption that offers insights into new technologies and concepts including interactivity and 8K production.
Manage: Automating Media Supply Chains looks at AI and other new technologies that can create more successful media supply chains.
Publish: Embracing the Platform Revolution presents new business models that are disrupting the industry.
Consume: Engaging Consumer Experiences delves into consumer consumption habits and next-gen fan engagement.
Monetise: Scaling Audiences and Revenues shines a light on brands as broadcasters and new models of advertising.
eSports – the fastest-growing segment in the M&E sector — will stage a full eSports tournament at IBC’s auditorium. The IBC eSports showcase is supported by ESL, Lagardère and EVS to demonstrate the scale of a typical event while presenting a series of eSports-focused scene-setters, panels, keynotes and interviews.
