Infusing security into long-form personalised video streaming

Infuse Video, a video hosting platform that aims to bridge the gap between content production and personalised streaming, has announced a partnership with EZDRM, a DRM-as-a-Service provider for security in video streaming.

The partnership, said the companies, allow Infuse Video customers to benefit from “world-class digital rights management (DRM) content protection” for their long-form personalised video content workflows. Content owners and developers can also create and securely deliver immersive video experiences to viewers, at scale.

With EZDRM’s technology the personalised streams are protected with Microsoft’s PlayReady, Google’s Widevine and Apple’s FairPlay in a multi-DRM format.

Ruud van der Linden, Infuse Video CEO, said, “Our partnership with EZDRM empowers our customers to securely distribute long-form personalised video experiences to their viewers.

“This enables a diverse set of subscription and business models, while fighting piracy, which guarantees monetisation opportunities and the viability of their business. This is the first time that this solution is provided in the market, globally.”

Olga Kornienko, COO & Co-founder of EZDRM, added, “We are very pleased to be working with the team at Infuse Video to enable comprehensive security for their novel personalised video solution.

“We look forward to our joint customers enjoying commercial success with this combined solution.”
