EVS will be demonstrating its newsroom solutions, which can be installed in fast-paced news production environments. From multi-source ingest, playback operations and turnaround editing through to delivery to multiple platforms, these solutions can provide real-time coverage of breaking news.
The XT-VIA production server will also be highlighted at the EVS stand. As the latest update to the company’s XT series of servers, the XT-VIA is capable of supporting six channels of 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) and 12 channels of HD, allowing facility providers and content creators to benefit from increased channel density and native IP support of SMPTE ST 2110 to power motion replays in IP connected environments.
Alongside the XT-VIA, EVS will also display the Xeebra multi-camera review system. With artificial intelligence (AI) integration, the system allows users to overlay graphics onto live camera feeds.
Completing EVS’ showcase at booth 4S4-10 are X-ONE and DYVI. X-ONE is a live production system designed for sports production. Using X-ONE, operators will be able to cut an entire programme using six live camera feeds and control audio, create replays and overlay graphics.
As for DYVI, the live production switcher combines IT hardware, creative software and an intuitive user interface. Designed as an alternative to traditional M/E buses, the DYVI GPU-enabled platform features a scalable architecture, allowing users to choose the resources accordingly to their needs.
All the solutions are built on EVS’ new VIA technology platform, a suite of modular microservices and workflow engines, which EVS says will become the foundation of all the company’s products.
