LiveU bringing IP-Video EcoSystem to BroadcastAsia 2023
At BroadcastAsia 2023, LiveU is set to showcase its complete IP-Video EcoSystem that provides agile live remote and on-site production solutions for sports, news, and other events.
LiveU’s solutions are built on its Live Reliable Transport (LRT) protocol, offering low latency, high quality, and resiliency. Through these solutions, LiveU will demonstrate ways in which users can reduce production costs, meet the increased demand for quality content, and optimise monetisation opportunities.
One of the main highlights of LiveU’s presentation is the new On-site Production Solution, which adds remote production efficiencies to outside broadcasts (OB). The solution includes multi-cam/compact 5G/4K field units and a Mobile Receiver in the OB truck, with live feeds transferred via the Internet and the LU-Link cloud services as part of the workflow.
LiveU will also showcase its latest field units, the 5G multi-cam LU800, and the compact HD/4K LU300S with 5G capabilities. These are supported by LiveU’s production tools, including IP Pipe, Video Return, and Audio Connect, which enable users to remotely control a wide variety of network-based equipment and communicate easily with camera operators and talent in the field.
LiveU’s cloud solutions, including LiveU Ingest, LiveU Studio, and LiveU Matrix, will also be on display at booth 6G1-01. LiveU Ingest is an automated workflow solution that accelerates the time-to-air and conversion of assets into digital media, increasing production efficiency. LiveU Studio is a fully scalable, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that makes it easy to create and distribute more live content across digital media channels.
LiveU Matrix is an IP cloud video distribution service that allows users to share and receive high-quality, low-latency live feeds with broadcasters and other stakeholders around the globe.
BroadcastAsia 2023 will take place from 7-9 June 2023 at Singapore Expo Convention & Exhibition Centre.
