Media Prima tapping into Ooyala’s expertise to drive efficiencies

The installation of the Ooyala Flex Media Platform is said to enable Media Prima to reduce its time to market by 80%

Media Prima, a Malaysian media company, has been offering video content via its over-the-top (OTT) service tonton, and through various platforms and partners such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Facebook and Viu. In an attempt to bring efficiency into its content delivery and distribution business, Media Prima has tapped into Ooyala’s expertise to power its content management, syndication, and distribution chain.

The implementation of the Ooyala Flex Media Platform has enabled Media Prima to reduce the time taken for online content preparation and processing time by up to 80%, said Ooyala, allowing the distribution of content to the network’s digital channels and partners in a timely manner.
