Media processing and orchestration at the heart of Telestream’s solutions

Telestream will be demonstrating its iQ solutions, which are capable of delivering “actionable intelligence” to both content owners and distributors, thus providing visibility and accountability along the media supply chain.

iQ solutions are designed to ensure audience expectations for video quality are met, validating delivery against Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and compliance obligations. With actionable information and metrics for optimising traffic and cost, these technologies have the ability to provide an enhanced viewing experience while protecting the brand reputations of service, network and content providers, said Telestream.

Furthermore, Telestream has developed an end-to-end quality assurance solution for multi-screen and over-the-top (OTT) video streaming that completes adaptive bitrate (ABR) delivery network, monitoring mobile and Wi-Fi access points, and virtual deployment support for on-premise, private or public cloud. Enhancements such as a simplified user interface (UI) and new workflow enable users to identify the location of quality issues, hence minimising the time between detection and resolution.

The company will also be showcasing Vantage, its flagship media processing, orchestration and delivery platform. Vantage workflow orchestration and media processing can run on-premises or in the cloud as business needs accelerates. With Elastic Domain, Vantage has new deployment and licensing options to support rapid scaling.

New integration of the Pathfire Automation Connect Protocol allows for TrafficManager support of long-form content, while Brightcove dynamic upload integration has also been added for Vantage Social.
