MediaPower in JV to enter content aggregation and production market

Alliance with Boulder Creek International will see MediaPower offering OTT and WebTV services starting from Italy

MediaPower, a solutions provider for media content production and delivery, and Boulder Creek International, a London-based production and distribution company, has entered a strategic partnership on content production and distribution in Italy.

This cooperation, according to the companies, will provide Italian customers with not only content from Boulder Creek’s catalogue, but also access to content production and distribution expertise, backed by MediaPower’s media technology infrastructure and workflow solutions.

Under this partnership, MediaPower will augment its over-the-top (OTT) and WebTV offerings with Boulder Creek’s existing content catalogue. Additionally, Boulder Creek will lend its expertise in content strategy, production and distribution, thus enabling MediaPower to produce content for broadcast and media customers, corporate organisations and other institutions, powered with MediaPower’s media asset management (MAM) and content sharing platform.
