The camera support systems manufacturer will present its Skyline 90 and CompassX series fluid heads at Inter BEE 2017

This month, Miller Camera Support will be demonstrating its Skyline 90 and CompassX series (CX) fluid heads at Inter BEE 2017.

Available in five models — CX2, CX6, CX8, CX10 and CX18 — the CX fluid heads are equipped with Miller’s CB Plus technology that offers 16 positions of counterbalance for rapid adjustment. Designed to support a wide payload range, the CX series also features a side-loading base plate that enables “fast and easy” mounting and alighting of camera rigs.

Joseph White, regional sales manager, Asia & Africa, Miller Camera Support, said: “Inter BEE 2017 allows us to showcase the technological advancements of the CompassX and Skyline 90, which provide the speed and strength that the broadcast field calls for, to this region of the world.”

As for the Skyline 90, the fluid head is designed to meet the demands of challenging outside broadcast (OB) environments. With a sliding platform featuring 300mm of sliding range, the Skyline 90 is capable of balancing heavy camera loads, allowing operators to “glide effortlessly” with a full camera payload.

Furthermore, it comes with an automatic safety lock to ensure a secure horizontal position when loading or dismantling heavy box lenses.

Miller Camera Support will be exhibiting alongside Velbon at booth 5605 during Inter BEE 2017, which will be held from November 15-17 at the Makuhari Messe convention centre in Chiba, Japan.
