Having the platform operating on Google Cloud will empower media owners to automate video workflows while driving more revenue, said Ooyala
Ooyala has announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to leverage the latter’s cloud technologies for its Ooyala Flex Media Platform.
Designed as a video content supply chain solution, Ooyala Flex Media Platform supports media delivery, workflow orchestration, and content monetisation. With the Ooyala Flex Media Platform, media owners are able to automate their video workflows, expand their audiences, and get content to market faster, flexibly and securely.
The partnership with Google Cloud will enable the platform to operate on the Google Cloud Platform, tapping into the Google Compute Engine for scalability and robust performance, Google Cloud Storage for unified and secured storage, and the Google Cloud global network for content delivery.
Jonathan Huberman, CEO of Ooyala, concluded: “Around the world, media companies are looking for ways to deliver and monetise their content faster, and with far greater flexibility and efficiencies. Our collaboration with Google Cloud will further strengthen our position as a leading technology provider for global broadcasters and media companies.”
