The Sx TAG hand-held instrument from Phabrix can be deployed for IP, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, optical SDI, HDMI, as well as analogue test and measurement applications.
The SMPTE ST 2110-equipped Sx and Qx series from Phabrix will be demonstrated at the IP Showcase
In the third edition of the IP Showcase at IBC2018, vendors will showcase an array of IP-based product demonstrations highlighting the benefits of the industry’s move to IP infrastructure for professional media applications.
One vendor participating at the IP Showcase this year is Phabrix, which will be demonstrating its test and measurement solutions, including the Sx TAG handheld and Qx IP rack-mount rasteriser. Both the solutions are SMPTE ST 2110-ready, and are capable of providing the tools broadcasters require to transition from SDI and hybrid SDI/IP operations to the fully IP-based infrastructures of the future.
For instance, the Qx IP rasteriser is designed for IP network traffic analysis and stress testing, and offers hybrid SDI/IP generation, analysis and video/audio monitoring for SMPTE ST 2110 and ST 2022-6, as well as 3G/HD-SDI environments. Phabrix will also demonstrate the capabilities of the Sx TAG hand-held instrument, including decapsulation/encapsulation of SMPTE ST 2110 streams for rapid fault finding and compliance testing in a broadcast system.
The IP Showcase will take place in Rooms E106 and E107 during IBC2018 at the RAI Amsterdam convention centre in from September 14-18.
