Software-defined and virtualisable automated workflow solutions will be some of Pixel Power’s highlights at BroadcastAsia2018.
For instance, Pixel Power will be presenting StreamMaster, a media processing platform that enables users to build software-defined workflows for graphics and branding, media processing, master control and delivery. StreamMaster allows users to launch just the functionality they require, and is available based on flexible licensing models and can be virtualised for implementation on-site or in the cloud.
Pixel Power will also be highlighting the Gallium workflow orchestration for managing content workflows, whether that is for multi-channel multi-platform live playout, or for the automated production of promos and trailers. As with StreamMaster, Gallium is a suite of software services allowing users to license the configuration that meets their needs accordingly.
Completing Pixel Power’s showcase at booth 4P5-03 is Gallium VoD, a package solution designed for video-on-demand (VoD). Gallium VoD provides a single point of processing to create VoD assets, including the removal and replacement of graphics and branding to suit online services; and the replacement of broadcast ads with stitched primary content or dynamic advertising replacement.
James Gilbert, CEO for Pixel Power, will also be speaking at the IABM Theatre, under the title Tomorrow’s media toolbox — today, on Tuesday, June 26, at 3pm. Entitled Smart automation for your manual workflows, not just your playout, Gilbert’s presentation will focus on growth areas of VoD and over-the-top (OTT) in media distribution today, and how automated workflow system is capable of delivering the media assets needed for tomorrow’s broadcast world.
