Grass Valley has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of Playout Xpress. Designed to manage demanding channel requirements, this new solution enables playout operators to adapt to rapidly changing audience trends.
With Playout Xpress, broadcasters and rights holders will be able to originate more content, across more pop-up feeds and social media. The solution is also built to be deployable by the operator within a day, Grass Valley claimed.
Playout Xpress is an onsite, pre-commissioned system that allows the end-user to define their specific requirements. Supporting up to four channels of playout, it provides users with an automation system that can cope with the complex demands of playout at a competitive entry point.
