APB+ Privacy Policy

Editec International Pte Ltd, the publisher of APB+ (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting +), is committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring that you continue to trust APB+ with your personal data.

As APB+ is now being published across different platforms, including print and electronic channels featuring Views from the Top, Media Maven discussions and other news, views and interviews as well as advertising and marketing services, we are committed to safekeeping the data you allow us to collect and process in pursuit of the above purposes.

General information about access to and control over your personally identifiable information (PII)

In launching our Media Maven as a community platform for industry professionals to express their views or comments on issues impacting the broadcast industry, the PII we collect is strictly for our own mailing and marketing services.

APB+ also collects non-PII data through the use of cookies and other site analytics such as Google Analytics, which does not identify you or others when you visit our websites; the collection is for site performance metrics, analytics, and demographics.

We only share your data with our own or select employees of sponsored surveys or contests that we may jointly carry out from time to time; we may share general and aggregated demographic information such as company name, job title, and company size with our survey partners.

You may withdraw your consent for any future contacts from us at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided on our newsletters and website.

For normal access to our print or electronic publications, the data we collect only consists of your name, company and designation, email address — and, optional, office telephone number.

To join as a Media Maven, we require your PII, including a short bio, photo and links to your social media. Requirements are listed on the Media Maven application form.

The commentary you submit as a Media Maven will be  moderated by designated employees of APB+ and achieved, unless you request in writing for its removal. Not all comments submitted are published due to space consideration and other reasons.
