Riedel Communications’ Bolero is a wireless intercom solution that can be used in three ways — as wireless beltpack, a wireless keypanel, or as a walkie-talkie radio.

Riedel Communications highlights end-to-end intercom solutions at Inter BEE 2017

The Bolero wireless intercom solution, MediorNet MicroN media distribution network device and the Desktop SmartPanel are some of the solutions Riedel Communications will be bringing to Inter BEE 2017

At Inter BEE 2017, Riedel Communications will be presenting its Bolero wireless intercom solution, which is a six-channel DECT-based intercom system operating in the licence-free 1.9GHz frequency range.

Featuring Riedel’s advanced DECT receiver (ADR) technology, Bolero can be integrated into Riedel’s Artist digital matrix intercom platform via an AES67 IP network, and can be deployed in three ways — as a wireless beltpack, a wireless keypanel, or a walkie-talkie radio.

Alongside Bolero, Riedel will also be exhibiting its MediorNet line of media transport and management solutions. For instance, its MicroN distribution network device can be deployed to create a decentralised routing system that distributes signal load using flexible node placement.

Cameron O’Neill, director, Asia-Pacific, Riedel Communications, said: “Inter BEE is the premier event for Japan’s media and entertainment industry, and it’s a great showcase for Riedel’s newest innovations in real-time signal distribution, networking and communications.

“We’re proud to feature solutions such as the new Bolero wireless intercom, our MediorNet MicroN high-density distribution network, and our highly functional Desktop SmartPanel.”

As the newest addition to the Riedel SmartPanel family, the DSP-2312 Desktop SmartPanel is equipped with AES67, AVB and AES3 connectivity that allows direct connections to Riedel’s Artist systems. The Desktop SmartPanel features 12 keys, two TFT touch-screen LCD displays, and an integrated power supply.

Additionally, the Desktop SmartPanel supports Riedel SmartPanel Apps, including the Intercom Basic and Plus Apps, and MediorNet Control and HandsFree Apps.
