The MCM-9000 IP-based multiviewer and monitoring system will be part of DIGIcas’ exhibition at the show
At upcoming Inter BEE 2018, TAG Video Systems will be partnering DIGIcas for the showcase of its MCM-9000 IP-based multiviewer and monitoring system. The demonstration will take place at DIGIcas’ booth 4206, where TAG’s MCM-9000 will be operated in conjunction with major manufacturers’ equipment to illustrate its ability to support all formats, flavours and resolutions, as well as compressed and uncompressed signals.
The software-only, all IP-based MCM-9000 HD/UHD multiviewer and monitoring system is optimised with support for the SMPTE ST 2110/2022-6/7 suite of standards for managed IP networks that address HD and 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) uncompressed video and audio streams at the inputs and outputs.
The MCM-9000 will also be demonstrated with added support for MPEG-DASH and 4K/UHD high dynamic range (HDR) sources; under two-frame latency for uncompressed sources; real-time decryption, monitoring and viewing of over-the-top (OTT) content, including support for Verimatrix’s MultiRights OTT key management solution; and interoperability with the Ross Newt IPX 4K/UHD to HDMI converter at the output.
Reza Zirak, co-founder and president of DIGIcas, added: “With the recent focus on IP and SDI-over-IP, DIGIcas is becoming a familiar resource for clients in search of IP, and TAG’s MCM-9000 ‘Wall of Fame’ is the perfect product for both compressed and uncompressed signals, and those looking for more than just a multiviewer.”
Inter BEE 2018 will be taking place from November 14-16 at the Makuhari Messe convention centre in Tokyo.
