Telstra Broadcast Services (TBS) and BT have announced a five-year strategic alliance aimed at bolstering global media network connectivity and providing content delivery services to broadcast and media organisations worldwide. This collaboration brings together the extensive network infrastructure and localised expertise of both organisations, enabling them to offer a unified experience for customers across key regions, including Asia-Pacific, the UK, and other global markets.
The alliance will expand TBS’ global footprint by 50%, extending its reach to over 170 broadcast and media organisations worldwide. This enhanced presence will be complemented by the creation of a unified operations centre headed by Telstra, leveraging the combined strengths of both organisations’ global media networks.

Customers of both TBS and BT will benefit from the alliance’s expanded reach and unified operations, gaining access to Telstra’s high-capacity media networks for broader content distribution. This will be further supported by an increased local team in the Asia-Pacific region, providing localised knowledge and expertise through dedicated partner managers working closely with both TBS and BT customers.
