TMT’s Polaris platform on even keel using cloud-based localisation

TMT Insights, which specialises in professional services and software development for the media and entertainment (M&E) industry, is highlighting major enhancements to its Polaris operational management software platform, including a cloud localisation roadmap, at IBC 2023.
TMT will conduct ongoing demonstrations of its Polaris operational management software platform in a unique environment, on a boat docked at the RAI exhibition and conference centre. The platform is designed to give professionals a “single pane of glass” view of the entire media supply chain: ingest, localisation, editing, QC and end-to-end content delivery. In addition to demonstrating Polaris, TMT will discuss its key upgrades and highlight current customer applications.
Hannah Barnhardt, COO & Co-Founder of TMT Insights, explained, “Polaris can deliver long-term value for organisations regardless of where their other business process systems are in terms of development maturity, or if they are a mix of legacy and new technologies. There’s no one entry point to begin using Polaris and the platform’s continued evolution into new areas like localisation will further widen its audience.”
Cloud-based localisation is a natural extension of Polaris. The platform is already facilitating approximately 200,000 subtitle conforms and 50,000 audio dub conforms for customers, and localisation is a critical link to other Polaris-enabled functions in the media supply chain such as full ordering and task management.
