Verizon Digital Media Services adds security layer within cloud ecosystem

Complementing its Cloud Security Solution, the managed cloud security components introduced by Verizon Digital Media allow users to monitor and protect its assets

Verizon Digital Media Services has added a managed cloud security offering as part of its global Cloud Security Solution. The managed cloud security component provides access to security professionals to monitor, and take corrective actions against security threats.

The addition of the managed cloud security complements features previously available within Verizon Digital Media Services’ Cloud Security Solution, including a dual Web application firewall (WAF), which enables users to maintain protection on a previously approved rule while testing new rules — both against production traffic.

Other features of the Cloud Security Solution include distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection, bot management, and real-time analytics and reporting.
